  • Zapp is an electronic money payment instrument that contains a monetary value which is pre-loaded by the user. You are required to top-up your Zapp Account before making transactions. You may only use Zapp Services according to available funds preloaded into the Zapp Account. The value will be deducted from the Zapp Account whenever retail or fund transfer transactions are made and spending is limited to the amount of money available in your Zapp Account.

  • Minimum age of 13 years and above. If you are between the ages of 13-18, your parent or guardian must agree to Zapp Terms of Service before you can use Zapp.

  • You must provide a valid Identity Card for Malaysian citizen or permanent resident or a valid passport for foreigner, and any other documents e.g. utility documents that may be required by us for the purpose of verification.

  • You must own an active Malaysia-registered mobile phone number and provide a valid email address.

  • You can top up funds into your Zapp Account (subject to the wallet limit) and use it to make purchases for goods or services at participated merchants.

  • For Premium wallet, you can also perform fund transfer/withdrawals to your own bank account.

  • User can download the Zapp e-wallet mobile application from Apple App Store or Google Play Store via their own mobile device.

  • Ensure your mobile device is compatible with the requirements of Zapp mobile application at all times.

  • Be fully responsible to provide the correct and updated information for the registration and use of Zapp Services.

  • To provide personal identification documents and any other documents that may be required by us from time to time.

  • Ensure that all transactions via the Zapp Account are made or authorised by you.

  • You must not allow or authorise any third party to use your Zapp Account or for purposes which are not permitted.

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your Zapp Account or any other breach of security regarding your Zapp Account.

  • You must not use the Zapp Services for any unlawful activities prohibited by laws.

  • We may amend any of the terms and conditions governing the use of the Zapp Services. Any such amendment shall be effective twenty-one (21) days after it has been published at the Zapp mobile application or website.

  • Unauthorised use of your Zapp Account if your Zapp login details or PIN have been compromised. You should notify us immediately if any of such incidents occurred. In the event of loss/stolen mobile device that contains the account information, you need to block the access to the Account. Just log out your Zapp App by login to the App via any other mobile devices and change your PIN via the Zapp App.

  • Zapp will charge a fee when you transfer money from your Zapp Account to your own bank account. The fee is RM0.53 per transfer, which will be deducted from your Zapp Account.

  • It is important that you inform us on any changes in your personal or contact details to ensure that all information is able to reach you in a timely manner. You may change your mobile number and email address via the Zapp mobile application.
